Description
KEBOSOL CA is non-ionogenic surfactant made of a selected fatty alcohol and ethylene oxide. It acts as wetting agent and defoamer at the intermediate and low-product working.
Benefits
The application of KEBOSOL CA in the process stages mentioned below offers the following advantages:

- an immediate and persistent defoamer effect
- an evidently better circulation of the massecuite resulting in a rapid crystal growth
- at the crystallizationby
- a considerably higher desugarization in the low grade product crystallizers
- a better flow behaviour in the crystallizers
- at the centrifugalwork by
- a considerably more rapid „centrifuging“ of the molasses in the discontinuous centrifuge
- a remarkable improvement in the centrifugal and washing process in the continuous centrifuge
- a more rapid and more complete deaeration of the molasses
Dosing, Addition
KEBOSOL CA may be charged together with the run offs to be boiled or even added to the different strikes in the crystallizers. If necessary KEBOSOL CA can be prediluted with cold or warm water in the ratio 1:5 prior to addition. To reduce the viscosity of the undiluted KEBOSOL CA it is recommended to store the packages for a time in a warm environment (e.g. close to the evaporators) prior to use. In general 500 g KEBOSOL CA corresponding to 10 ppm is sufficient for 50 tons strike.

Storage
In closed original packages KEBOSOL CA is storable for at least two years.
Protect from temperatures higher than 60°C.
